Throughout my public career, I’ve never treated public office as a resume line. I’ve treated it as a responsibility.  And in my business endeavors, I've strived to do well for my family by also doing good for the world.

When I ran for the San Mateo Community College Board, I didn’t campaign on symbolism. I ran with one clear goal: Free Community College for all county residents. Two years later, we delivered, reducing costs and expanding access to upward economic mobility for more than 33,500 students and expanding access to economic mobility.

I am proud that we accomplished that goal together. However, Californians still face many challenges, and my desire to make a difference remains strong. Given today's accelerating political polarization I feel compelled to stand up for the everyday challenges we face and our government's inability to solve problems with common sense approaches.    

That is why I am considering serving Californians in another capacity and will make that announcement in the near future.  I hope you will sign up for updates and follow my social media accounts for the latest news when that announcement comes.
